Why Trade With Suburban Contemporary?

Designer working for the best deal for their client.

When a designer comes in with or without a client and is looking for the best price for the client with no commission involved the discount will be 50% off Suburban’s retail excluding any MRP priced items such as AL comfort sleepers and recliners, BDI etc.. They can work with a sales person or management; our sales person would still receive their commission.

Designer qualifying for to the trade discount.

To qualify for this discount, the designer has to work directly with management. If the customer comes in and works directly with a sales associate before the designer has an opportunity to talk to management, then the designer would not qualify for this discount, but still would qualify for options #1 and #3. A designer who wishes to purchase for themselves to resell to their client may qualify for to the trade discounts. There is a 40% discount from a factory retail pricelist plus 8% freight. Some vendors will not direct ship or drop ship to a dock or end user customer so the freight must come to Suburban. The designer can have Suburban deliver or have their own service deliver or pick up their purchase.

Designer wanting a commission.

A designer who wants a commission with their client in the store must work with the sale prices shown. There will be no automatic 50% discount on all items. They can work with a sales person and the sales person will receive their commission. The designer will receive a 8% commission on all items excluding closeouts.
